When I arranged to travel BarCampBA thought it was a good opportunity to visit a company in the industry, see what they do from the inside, to know how they work, beyond test their products or read their news. Visit these businesses are going to start to become a habit for CG in the near future.
The first that came to my mind was Three Melons, because it was following its work fairly and that just was thinking about when I read something in your Twitter and said “ready, at Three Melons is then”. I sent a DM, and in moments was connected with Marina Romanisio which handles the marketing, media and customer relations.
To summarize, and I think most of those who pass through here already know what I mean when I say Three Melons (and also because a glance through their page says it all) was founded in 2005 by Mariano Suárez Battán. This study is developing online video games and iPhone, focused on advergames but gradually moving away from it (now in the midst of a project that I saw something and I can not say much
, related to football and social networks) .
Now employs 45 people at its offices in the neighborhood of Belgrano (started in an apartment and now hold 3), last year billed U $ S 1 million and have already gone through two rounds of investment, the latter by U $ S 600,000.
Customers? Envidiables … LEGO (checked versions of LEGO Indiana Jones and LEGO Star Wars?), Coca-Cola; Ax; MTV, Audi, Discovery Networks, FOX and others …
In this first note I leave the first video we shot on the floor where the bulk of the development team, the meeting room, and some other offices. The idea was to do something good descontracturado, nothing very serious interviews and flat walk hand-held camera and talk a little.
I have to thank @ vbracco who put the cam and tripod (we do not use finally) and have also accompanied by two tuiteros us who had arrived moments ago for BarCampBA: @ decimetoni and @ sebamoreno.
