Swan automaton eighteenth century realistic

Surely if it were not for the title could easily think the video to see that this is the last robot newcomer niponas land which has the latest technology that allows it to move with the degree of realism that we see.

Well, nothing like that, is an eighteenth-century automaton machine imitating a swan-size. It is made of silver and as a clockwork inside (and music box) which is what gives “life” .
It is believed that John Joseph Merlin was the creator of the facility and passed through several hands until in 1872 John Bowes bought it.

It is now exhibited in the museum Bowes (England) and I saw only operate once a day at a specific time. I’m eager to see him live and live to appreciate all the details of this artistic work and mechanics.
