Seguridad y ciberataques

After finishing the year 2009 quite disastrous in relation to the safety of their products, in Adobe I have seen the wolf ears. It was detected that some of the latest attacks against some organizations and companies may have their origin in a file PDF attachment that has traveled via email.

Unfortunately it appears that the vulnerabilities later this year are the source of the attacks. Despite the updates, the system implemented by Adobe to implement them does not seem to succeed among users and many systems are not to last, making it easier to exploit these flaws.

From Adobe consider making public duties updates and shuffled the possibility of using an update method invisible to the user, the more opaque and that in exchange for our security, our system will manipulate at will. Remains to be seen whether their programs via configuration may keep the current system.

We will not tear their hair out because a program is updated without notifying the user, Chrome actually do it and no one has complained more than usual, at least until now.

The browser regards Microsoft seems to be more difficult to solve and that relates directly to Internet Explorer (in the versions between 6 and 8) with the attacks it has suffered Google in China.

The best part is that the Exploit has been used only for a Trojan in more than two dozen organizations and companies they have suffered cyber attacks in recent weeks. Everything seems to point a cyberterrorist attack organized and led , whose purpose was the theft of documents and information.

As a result of these attacks some agencies prohibit their employees pose to use Microsoft’s browser , in fact, the Government of Germany, which suffered cyber attacks in the past (and all suspicions also pointed to China) It has launched an information campaign advising their employees to use alternative browsers.

From Microsoft still have not solved the vulnerability in question and although it has not been extended, constitute a danger to end users. In the statement released by the Redmond company and recognize the failure of affected systems listed versions.

No doubt, this whole situation has revealed that future wars will be fought also on the network and of course, the interests of large multinational agencies and be the first to be attacked.
