Pinta You know and I have spoken several times of and freeware for Windows image editor Paint.NET, but today is the turn of a publisher to present this fantasy based image editor, but now to Linux and Mac OS X .

It is Pinta, an image editor that will need to Mono and GTK to work and that is based on the code Paint.NET , so it’s like a sort of clone, a derivative windowsera version for Linux and OS X. Although this is a very first version Pinta and paints, meaning that it is a fully functional application with support for multiple layers, history and various tools such as brushes and pencils of different types, deletion, shapes, selection or retouching effects such as sepia, inverted and self-adjustment.

So you know you have another option to those already Manolo gave us the other day, recommending entering Xatakafoto with many alternatives to popular Photoshop .
