The new version of Messenger, who has been detained for a long time, has finally been released in a beta version for Mac computers running the final version has yet to be expected, it will be for later this year, along with Office 2011 .
This new version has some new features of course but the two most important is the integration of audio and video calls that have been promised by the folks at Microsoft for a long time. According to them, and this worked a long time but had been unable to release a version with them because they changed some protocols needed to support these features and to make it fully compatible with the client that is used when in Windows.
This makes the beta version 8 is the only client for the Mac that lets you make calls with Windows Live Messenger 2009. Obviously have a another problem because it is Beta, but have warned that perhaps the option to share files and sample a little emoticons problems.
This version can be downloaded now from here. And if you do not need it for video calls, Adium is also a good option for those using Mac

Why don't you make one?
