Goggles

There are things that when you use first surprise you in an incredible way. You stay quiet, sigh and remember some science fiction movie of those that run in the future very far away. There is a strange feeling to touch the future or achieve something like a long boat trip that finally reached the port. All this experience when using the phone Nexus One and test Google Goggles . This technology allows you to use photographs to search the Internet. With a phone to take pictures of a book (or many other things), Google Goggles analyzes (using the future that has already reached), the processes and gives results on the website of an accuracy that is scary.

Had enough time I wanted to test whether indeed this technology was so impressive as claimed Google. The truth is that I believe any preconception that we are quite modest for what in reality is able to search the web using pictures taken with a phone. There are so many implications that gives many things to write about it.

Thanks to my friend Hugo LondoƱo Con-cafe.com and The Foncast, who very kindly lent me his new Google Nexus One with which I could make the video above. I wanted to show more from the phone, but I decided on this so amazing it is to see how it works and the answers given. I hope the video will explain itself.
