But there are times when no choice but to try at home some things that end up going fine at the store. We shop two PCs with TV tuner card. Normally in the satellite store we have there are able to tune installed nearly 700 channels. But on Friday we tuned only 80 channels. And did not look good. In the end, I ended up removing the HTPC and trying to locate the source of the noise. But nothing was quite right. No playing with the fan cable, power supply, hard drive, or burner … everything was perfectly caught the box. Even looked at whether there were any in the rewritable disc and the noise came from there. But there was no way. He turned off the PC and the noise disappeared, lit up and be heard again.
After spending half an hour reeling, located the sound source. My HTPC is connected directly to cable stereo SPDIF. But this team had plugged through HDMI to my TV. The TV volume was placed at 100% and what I heard was static coming from the HDMI cable from the PC. I removed the television volume and the annoying buzz is gone. Thank goodness, because I was sleeping there without struggling with the HTPC.
