From 1 to October 4 was conducted in the Province of San Luis the 3rd edition of the show called San Luis Digital computer and a blog reader Sol Medina was lucky enough to attend and kindly put together a summary of the event for us which from and appreciate, I could not publish it earlier for some further complications and I misplace in the box, but now we share it with you all.

Today (on Sunday) finished the third edition of St. Louis Digital, the largest computer fair in the province (and encourage me to say that the region of Cuyo well) organized by the University of La Punta and the Government of the Province.

I had the chance to go two days, so I walked and I went up the stands again and again. There were two main entrances to the campus where they were the booths of the companies (there were 2 tents, one for adolescents and one for children), in each of the inputs: the two largest stands: HP and across Microsoft-Intel. < >

The HP without any big news, pretty notebooks and netbooks in all colors, styles and sizes and a screen about 29 “which was filmed and put on red who stood at her and later dropped his image on the screen.

The Microsoft’s shift had several netbooks available to anyone who would be sailing for a while and one of the most popular entertainment: a projector, a giant screen tochscreen (see video jaja) where you could surf, draw, etc.. < >

Among other major companies was Tallard, Daxa, CORAD, Telmex, Kyocera, LG, Oracle, SIA Interactive, Exo, Panda Security and many local computer companies.

As is well known in St. Louis is very supportive to the cinema, and one of the stands had ridden a quad in front of a blue cloth, visitors could climb up and take a video walk the roads of San Luis and Potrero de los Funes, with wind effects and all inclusive with the best style movies!

Also noteworthy Laboratories, which was something like “cybers of netbooks” where children and adults could sit and have flash animation courses, registering for social network here or browse / chat a while.

I have not had chance to go to computer events in cities such as Buenos Aires or other countries, but I think we have anything to envy puntanos that although they were not all companies that you wanted (no Linux, no Apple The post “Clear” presented no Smartphone latest model) integrated CORAD Computers, The huge touchscreens Microsoft, robots created by teenagers, and organizing the event went flawlessly and left gaping at more than one.

More than one company put a Nintendo Wii as a lure to play with anyone who approached, there were still drawings wifi antenna, Xbox 360, companies that distributed tons of discounts and countless pamphlets.

The only thing to criticize: 90% of companies contract very pretty girls, but knew little or nothing about the company and not talk about the technologies and software development (they were plentiful companies) undertaking. (No offense or discriminate!)

In addition to individual conferences were held stands among the busiest and most interesting were “Opening San Luis 3.0″ by the leadership of the ULP, “A Smart World” by the President of IBM, “Technology and Innovation” by Public Sector Director of Microsoft Latin America.
