Mike Chambers, director of the Adobe Flash platform has published an entry on his blog where he makes clear that the company that owns Flash abandons the idea of using such technology to develop applications for iPhone and IPAD .
In a very critical input to the apple company, responds to the continuing attacks were launched on Flash from Apple in recent weeks. Chambers alert attitude of Apple and the harsh measures imposed on the development platform.
According to Chambers, Adobe will focus all its efforts on developing Flash on Android . Their main reasoning is that this is an open platform and its nature and operation are totally opposed to those of Apple and its devices.
Without a doubt, it is surprising that a director of a company that maintains a closed technology and does not look free to consider, such as Flash Player, taking advantage now on open platforms to criticize a similar position in another company .
At least the Android devices provide users with Flash and the possibilities that this entails, beyond the web in the form of video players, simple games, etc … Clearly, the arrival of Flash Player and Adobe Air Android will soon have these new applications.
