Adobe Releases AIR 2.0 and Flash 10.1, beta

Adobe has released betas Adobe Flash Player y Adobe AIR AIR Adobe Flash Player y Adobe AIR 2.0 and Flash Player 10.1 , almost simultaneously. Both were announced since early October, and knew about their news, as already proposed in the case of AIR. Both Adobe AIR 2 and Flash Player 10.1 includes the following improvements:

Support for multi-touch and gestures for which you need a touch screen, of course.

Global error manager, which allows developers to write a handler that processes all run-time errors.

Support for local access to the microphone, so do not need to pass the audio through a server in order to save it locally, as at present. This, as noted, will certainly arise for podcasting applications.

    But the greatest novelty brings Adobe Flash Player 10.1, which now lets you use the

      hardware to decode H.264 video in Windows

    • (for both PC and ultra mobile devices). Yes, for Windows only. Thus, if you have a decentita graphics card, you can use it to play videos in high definition, lightening the workload of the
